The Story of Bohemian Blooms

Bohemian Blooms founder Keeley Coburn

Originally from Islington in London, my journey into the world of floristry began many moons ago, from a basement studio in the idyllic market town of Great Dunmow. From my little studio, I began to merge my romantic and whimsical style into my floristry aesthetic, leading me to work on a series of incredible projects that paved the way for Bohemian Blooms to come to fruition.

Since then, Bohemian Blooms has grown into an independent floral events company, specialising in weddings, events, workshops, and more, situated against my family's home, a 16th-century barn conversion in the village of North End, just outside Chelmsford.

In the lead-up to Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas, we open our studio doors to the public, where you can spread the love and joy of the holidays with our Bohemian-style floral arrangements.

But the magic of our studio doesn't just stop there. Throughout the rest of the year, you are more than welcome to place an order directly or unwind in our enchanting realm by partaking in our floral workshops, where we cover all aspects of floristry, including bridal bouquets, arrangements, flower crowns, and seasonal wreath-making.

Our Commitment to Mother Earth

We take our responsibility towards Mother Earth very seriously by using eco-friendly materials and biodegradable products where possible and being mindful of what can be repurposed, up-cycled, and re-used with our planet Earth in mind.

Additionally, we design our floral arrangements using seasonal British flowers and foliage sourced locally, where possible, from our Essex flower farmers to ensure the freshest blooms for your arrangements whilst minimising our carbon footprint.

My Inspiration

Being born and raised in London, I have always had an unfound appreciation for the English countryside.

Throughout the year, I find myself outdoors foraging and wandering through the woodlands and fields, drawn to the ever-changing seasonal bountiful offerings and in awe of the enchanting interplay between structure, chaos, control and surrender that inspires me.

The result in my floral aesthetic is a tapestry of textures, colours, and fluidity that captures the essence of the bohemian spirit.
